I'm done with AARP. Unfortunately this came out during enrollment, so I'm stuck for another year. I've always felt they do not fight for senior issues, now I know why. So fed up with corporate greed

Not only disappointing, but when I signed up for healthcare through Medicare, I was told I had to join AARP to get United healthcare. So AARP made money off my membership renewals and UHC royalties.

I am 62 and have always had a bad feeling about AARP since I was 50. I could never quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it was their frequency of mailings? But I always felt like they are pushy.

My Mom told me to go to AARP for auto insurance. I did, and found out almost 2 yrs later I was paying almost 3x as much as I would have from other insurance companies. THEY ARE A RACKET!!!
