Well said Brad. I’ve worked as a waitress in my younger years. We didn’t get paid much but I never expected anyone to tip me but it was nice when they did. I never ever badmouthed anyone for not tipping, I took that job knowing what i was getting paid. Get well soon my friend.🥰

Waitresses and waiters should feel the same way as you… although the pay scale is much different! Servers get paid WAY less than minimum wage!

When you make $2.13 per hour, yes you absolutely depend on tips for your income. And they are taxed just like your income. So yes, tips are important and expected for good service.
