@love2hvac: Are you an HAC or HVAC tech? one of the most overlooked parts of is the Ventilation!!! there are many aspects but this video addressed the stove and vent a hood. reference material from: AC service tech Energy Vanguard and @John E when cooking you end up with a lot of moisture and particulate matter that needs to be vented out of the house. unfortunately many bent holds exhaust right back into the same air. the metal filter catches some cheese but does nothing for the particulates and moisture. A much bigger issue is with a gas stove. when methane is burned it creates CO2 carbon dioxide and H2O water valer but also other carcynecinics that need to be vented out of the house. It is essential that gas stoves be vented out of the home but recommended for all stoves to be vented out. Any house with a gas burning appliance should have a low level CO monitor. An alarm will not sound off until the level is high but a low level alarm will warn you before it becomes an emergency. I recommend all technicians to have a personal low level monitor in them at all times. @The Home Inspector, CMI® @Inspector Preston do y'all inspect for this? #hvac #hvactechnician #iaq #ventalation #gasstove #vent #venting #love2hvac #ventilation #cleanair #hvactech #homeinspection
