I’ve done the cube many times. This is 100% a preset and this formula does not work for a randomly mixed cube.

Yeah, I busted mine into pieces and threw it in the garbage, but it was like three or four moves moved to the garbage can move away from it break it throw it out

that's a loop move. first solve a cube n disorganize it in same way 8 eight times . and then reserve back your moves eight times . it's just a reversal thing .
