The world says: “Don’t act like a wife until he puts a ring on it.” But God says: “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 18:22) A godly woman doesn’t suddenly become a wife on her wedding day. She is already carrying those qualities long before. She’s nurturing, prayerful, disciplined, graceful, wise, and rooted in Christ. Lemme tell you… when I finally realized this, I was freed. I was SOOOO freed from the mindset the world gives you to not cook for no man if he ain’t put a ring on it, not pay for nothing, not clean after no man, literally don’t do NOTHING for no man you ain’t married to. That was a lost mindset. BUT HERE’S THE THING SIS❗️walking in the spirit of a wife only works with a MAN OF GOD. A worldly man will take and take, without ever stepping into his God-given role as a husband. If you want a worldly man, then you listen to wordly advice cause it’ll work on him. But if you want a man of God, you listen to how God defines a wife. NOT CULTURE. One thing I do want to make clear also: this also shows the physical side of how I steward our home for me and mines. Just remember that being a wife before you’re “officially” one isn’t about doing wifely duties to prove your worth but about embodying the character God calls you to have. And when the right man finds you, he’ll recognize the favor of the Lord on your life. 💛
