@alisonkim61: I got rejected, but honestly, I'm grateful for how kind he was about it. He seemed genuinely surprised by my sudden confession, and I'm lucky that he was the first guy I ever opened up to. Afterward, he acted like it was just another normal day, which I really appreciated. It's refreshing, especially since I’ve seen people he’s close with brag about confessions they get. Although our friendship isn't as strong as it used to be, I'm still really grateful that I confessed because it taught me a lot about vulnerability, and at least I know I gave it a shot without any regrets.
