These OATMEAL FINGERS have been a huge hit for breakfast with my kiddos. They are so easy to make + you can mix up the toppings to make them a bit different every morning. 🍌🥣 Here is how to make them: • ½ mashed banana  • ⅓ cup milk  • ⅓ cup quick oats  1️⃣ Add mashed banana, oats and milk to a small microwave safe baking dish. I used a glass meal prep container.   2️⃣ Stir to combine and then press the mixture evenly into the dish. Cook on high in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Carefully remove from the microwave, cut into strips while warm and let cool for 10-15 minutes. You can put the container in the fridge to cool faster if needed.  3️⃣ Once cool, use a spatula to remove the oatmeal fingers from the container and serve. I like adding a drizzle of nut butter and serving with fresh berries.  Notes: 〰️ You can sub ¼ cup mashed baked sweet potato or ¼ cup apple sauce for the mashed banana. These versions needed to cook for about 2 mins and 30 seconds for me. 〰️ I have tested the banana version with rolled oats and it needs to cook a little longer (about 3 mins) and the texture is definitely more chewy.  〰️ This recipe is meant to be made in the microwave. If you don’t have one or don’t want to use one, try one of my baked oatmeal recipes. My one pan baked oatmeal has no added sugar and my blueberry baked oatmeal is always a hit with kids/babies.
