@thetummyfairy: Leftover Cheese & Chutney Tarts 🧀 These delicious Cheese & Chutney tarts are the perfect way to use up a leftover cheese board with zero waste!! I had some leftover brie, gorgonzola and goats cheese, but any cheese will work for this recipe, and they are super quick to make, yet look very impressive if you are hosting some festive Christmas get togethers.   Ingredients: 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed for at least 10 minutes from the fridge Cubed leftover cheese Chopped leftover antipasti meats or bacon A few tbsp of chutney or cranberry sauce 1 egg (for egg wash) Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)   Method: Preheat your oven to 190°C. Cut the puff pastry into squares (I make 24). Then use a knife to lightly mark an inner square so you get that puffed up edge. Place the pastry squares onto a lined baking sheet. Pop a small tsp of chutney on each square, mix and match the flavours. Then add some small pieces of cheese, topped with some meat. Dab the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg (add a little water to make egg wash). This will give the tarts a beautiful golden colour when baked. Pop them into the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the pastry is puffed up and golden brown.
