It’s the fact that after this WDW was done, Roy passed away two months later. He gave his all for a promise he made to his brother. It’s why I love the comparison of Walt/Mickey and Roy/Oswald.

Walt had the imagination, but Roy had a good business sense, both charcteristics worked together. The first statue you see at WDW is of Roy on Main St so that we don't forget that he made it happen.

Roy tried to keep Walt’s vision alive but Walt really wanted to excel in urban planning! He wanted to make walkabale cities and amazing public transport! I wish his vision had been spread more

I have always said, we need a duo like them again running the parks. Like when we had Frank Wells and Michael Eisner. That was when the parks were truly magical.

This is what having a sibling is supposed to be. It's never a competition who's the best or who's more successful. It's lifting each other up. It's about supporting each other.

Walt knew how to dream and Roy knew how to manage the funds to be able to make the dreams real. Like Michael Eisner and Frank Wells, as a team it was amazing but Eisner alone wasn’t enough

This is why people who say WDW has no soul or ‘Walt touch’ are wrong and usually don’t know the story behind it

As the eldest sister, I would do everything to make my siblings dream a reality. I'm sure Roy was proud of himself after finishing his brother's dream

doesn't sit right to start with the statement that he's the genius behind everything when you explain it's a duo where Walt dreamed and Roy built. Roy would not have built Disney without Walt creating

I love Roy 🥺 he’s soooo much of what WDW is today. It’s called WDW because of Roy. Not Disney World.
