@wanderingbud.ceramics: Replying to @Brittany Tillinghast Are ceramic pieces easy to clean? ⬇️ CLEANING TUTORIAL spoiler: you can clean out glazed and vitrified ceramic pieces using whatever method you use for your glass sculptures. Why? During firing, the chemical composition of clay changes to become very similar to the composition of glass. Add a glassy coating inside (hi 👋 food safe, non-toxic glaze), and cleaning becomes super easy. ***Our customers actually tell us that our ceramic pieces are *easier* to clean than their glass pieces 🤯 but there is no absolutely effortless method to clean cereal bowls. I recommend collecting several and rotating through them daily so you can clean them all at once and always have a clean piece ready to go.
