I feel like the slamming weight rule is ridiculous! If you’re upping weight and a set, it’s gonna be difficult to place it down quietly! There’s obviously gonna be at least a little bit of a struggle

Tbh I feel like an alarm like that can be dangerous. Like what if someone is mid-lift or something and gets startled and falls/drops something on themself.

I remember taking a class once and a guy was being awful chucking weights yelling at everything making a nuisance. no one would set off the alarm. me and others in the class begged our coach to do it
