this is so true, I lived there for 2 years from 1998, and like you say, it is paradise until you see the dark side. I hope they're all found safe and well.

My fear of the sea doesn’t allow this in the daytime in good conditions without being terrified never mind in the stormy night. Hope some people managed to survive

This is so so sad. The sea was so choppy on NYE one year everyone was getting on these boats. I grabbed my friend and was like NOT A CHANCE! So many capsized that night

I've been on that boat 🫠 they almost didn't take us because of the weather then decided they would. I was worried the whole time it would capsize. thoughts with those people :(
