@mohau_howzar: NORTH WEST POLICE CONDEMN TEENAGERS SEEN RECKLESSLY JUMPING ON POLICE VEHICLE IPELEGENG – The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the North West Province has condemned the reckless behaviour of two teenagers who were caught on video jumping on a police vehicle in Ipelegeng. The footage, which has been widely circulated on social media, has sparked public outrage and prompted a stern warning from the police. MORONGWA understands that, according to a statement issued by SAPS, the incident occurred on Christmas Day, 25 December 2024, while officers were conducting routine patrols. The state vehicle had been driving past a tavern in Ipelegeng when the teenagers jumped onto it. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained, and the vehicle was not damaged. Acting Provincial Police Commissioner, Major General Patrick Asaneng, expressed concern over the incident, stating: “This type of reckless behaviour can result in serious criminal charges, such as malicious damage to property or obstructing police officers in the execution of their duties.”
