i truly didn’t expect that ending when I heard about this case. • • this is honestly one of the most heartbreaking I’ve ever heard. Thankfully, grandpa fought back and saved her. And would you believe, that weeks later they ran into each other at Walmart, and Darriynn tried to brush it off with a half-hearted “my bad”? But that wasn’t the end. A few months later, he targeted a different house. Inside were 4-year-old twins, Cash and Carter. In the middle of the night, while they slept side by side, he crept in. He carefully lifted Cash out from under the blanket… and carried him away. What happened next is almost too painful to describe. Darriynn took Cash down the street, and he attacked him. The next morning, a woman out for her walk saw what she thought was a dog lying in the road… but it was little Cash. And here’s the creepiest part is that afterward, Darriynn actually went back to that same bedroom and stood over the other twin, Carter. For reasons no one understands, he left him there. Carter woke up to find his brother missing. Police quickly tied Darriynn to the crime with baby monitor footage and bloodstained clothes found in his home. He was arrested that same night.
