She left after a surgery then my recovery failed and I had 2 more surgeries which got my my fingers paralyzed. Imo it's necessary to have this in a monogamy 💯

As an avoidant and hyper independent this is a huge issue for me. I think everyone also likes being independent. Asking or being a burden is not something I can tolerate

My husband is this way. He took on my burden and more and still told me “I’m not leaving you!!” when I told him to because I felt like a burden.

If it is reciprocal. It can’t go just one way. If they make you feel guilty when you are a burden to them, that is not love.

I made sure to let her know she wasn’t a burden. When she was sick when she was anxious, when she was lonely when she was mad. She couldn’t even be there for me without throwing it in my face
