@ftmlosing92lbs: Budget for the month for our family of 3 is $500 for groceries. This total is a little higher than I'd like, because we still need to get eggs and fresh fruit each week. but we have gift cards from Christmas that can cover that this month! I'm gonna be better about meal planning using similar ingredients next month. I also planned this menu weeks ago- it would have been better to plan it this week when I knew what was on sale. all new lessons for next month!
