I feel so guilty for passing down these genes I didn’t know I had till age 35 to him..I didn’t develop POTS till age 34 I was told by doctors since his age 9 that it was anxiety and was told I was a hypochondriac by every adult in my childhood… it wasn’t till they found out I have POTS that they found I also have EDS ..and apparently pain everyday all over in your joints and being uncomfortable in every position your sitting in, and not being able to sit with your feet on the ground always needing them elevated, and pain while standing still snd sooooo much more isn’t normal like everyone made me believe as a child….I also have Adrenal insufficiency (Addisons Disease) my mother passed away from it beacuse doctors don’t know much about adrenal insufficiency she gave up finding answers beacuse doctors never took her seriously and labeled a drug seeker she died at age 46 from stress..I’m praying so hard that my boy does not have that as well cause I almost died from it a few months ago but we are taking him to get blood labs to see if his cortisol and aldosterone and bloood work looks ok in the endo department beacuse his blood pressure goes sooooo low just like mine his goes below 90/60 but is continuing to dip down into 80s/50s even with continuous salt and electrolytes …pray for him please 🙏🏻❤️ #chronicillness #son #genetics #chronicillnesswarrior #ehlersdanlos #pots #posturalorthostatictachycardiasyndrome #trend
