My boy is short and he keeps his left foot on so he can keep it in neutral and lean his bike so your right foot has a good plant. I’m guessing it’s way more comfy

Boots + pick a side to flat foot and keep the other foot on the peg. Best to try and keep foot up on shifter side in case you need to shift gears quickly
