You do large pull ups = high back muscles involved than lats. With your chin ups you have elbows close to body = lats very involved

never did assisted or banded, find a lot of ppl struggle to get past the last band etc. did chin-ups, negatives, trained back, got to 10 pull-ups in a year. onto 15kg now, just get used to ur bw🤷‍♀️

Most can use more weight on a chin up. So mechanical tension will be higher
