I’ve never worked in a restaurant, but have done customer service. I agree that if a friend or date treated any kind of staff badly, that would be it for me. They don’t deserve that.

I had a first date and the guy was super rude to the waiter. I said something and he said he “gets it man to man” the waiter just raised his brows and took away the offending plates.
