I was in Rome for 5 minutes when I got hit with the bracelet scam. Ended up paying almost $20 for a string friendship bracelet that had been tied into my wrist without permission. Lesson learned.

No such thing as fake restaurants, thats how the locals advertise there. Any major city has workers advertising their restaurants in such a way.
