My c section scar from two years ago in one corner is still sooooooo itchy! S/p endo sx & they used a diff glue even tho I said severely allergic to dermabond and here I am hating life rn

This is so good to know. I had a small reaction to lash glue. I had dermabond in a surgery prior, and it itched pretty bad, but I thought it was normal.

Yes I’m allergic to dermabond. I’ve had three different surgeries where they went through my stomach and I get a rash and it swells after I had surgery and the glue was used every time 😞

I was allergic to the glue as well I’m almost 2months pp and I’m still not completely healed and dealing with a rash/blisters still.

I've got surgery coming up. My doc put it on my arm to test. It burned like hell instantly then went away. I peeled it off the next day was fine. Then this morning woke up to it being sensitive, raised, slightly itchy, and red. I think I'll tell them not to use it on surgery day.

I’m fine with band aids etc. but dermabond really messed me up. I am 3 weeks post op from a robotic repair for 2 defects. Apparently it’s a nation wide issue with dermabond. My general surgeon said she is going back to steri strips and to tell the next surgeon if I don’t get her that I can only do steri strips.

What if I didn’t know that the glue would cause me to have an allergic reaction and now I have really bad hives all over my abdomen and I can’t get the glue off (it’s so itchy and no meds have helped
