my steps are usually: sweep, mop with liquid cleaner, then mop with just water to pick up any residue from the cleaning products

one thing about the post-mop: if you're aiming to disinfect, you may need to let the product sit on the surface! it takes time for antiseptic products to kill microbes.

Good tips but I will never do a post mop vacuum 🤣 I would just avoid mopping completely if I told myself I’d have to vacuum again after it

I scurry around with a towel under my feet to dry the floors afterwards. I feel like it helps collect anything I might have missed on the first vacuum too.
