@marioaesparzajr: Honor is the culture of the Kingdom. 💛 How can we claim to love God, yet curse our brother with the same mouth? “Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” (James 3:10) God takes dishonor seriously. When Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses, dishonor brought judgment, and Miriam was struck with leprosy (Numbers 12:1-10). Gossip, slander, and dishonor grieve the heart of God and hinder His blessing. But there’s power in a life of honor! When we choose to love, respect, and bless others, we reflect God’s heart. As 1 John 4:20 reminds us, “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” Let’s cultivate a culture of honor—honor for God and for one another. There’s blessing in it, freedom in it, and a reflection of the Kingdom in it.
