@bikingdc: This is rarely a situation I come across to be honest, I think only one other person at a front desk told me to turn the camera off. To be fair most buildings that are private with recording restrictions will have a sign or it’ll be pretty clear but you never know. This lady was just doing her job though so I’m not dishing any hate toward her. I can imagine it would thrown someone off Thankfully the customer was super cool and came down and also left a $10 tip.
