My male ELA/world geo teacher has two kids who always cause trouble, and they still do it. They don’t care. I listen to him, bc why wouldn’t I? I do that for all the teachers.

I love how at the end he back pedaled a bit to make sure they knew he wasn’t trying to mansplain. 😅 Very sweet! It is always nice to hear the acknowledgment of male privilege, though.

A benefit to starting my career quite late (after a long time subbing), is that my boundaries come pre-installed & there's not enough WD-40 on the PLANET to stop me from squeaking at BS 😜

Absolutely!! In every HS I’ve taught, males often are hall monitors, not the test givers. They get the cushy duty stations, and are never questioned
