Also, as they’ve given you the name of the restaurant in advance, I would go online and check out the menu so I can decide on my order in advance and not get flustered.

Lunch interviews are elite. I always ask the person I would be reporting to for lunch or coffee just to hear about them before even applying (LinkedIn request) and 3/3 times have snagged the role.

Used to be the guy who had to interview someone over lunch. Free lunch - yep - but having to write up an after-interview report detailing eating habits was just awful
