my non-profit cat rescue & sanctuary has a 2 acre cat yard enclosure I have over 200 cats & the yard is essential for them,they can't all stay locked in buildings so I'm terrified

The boots are a good idea, however, highly recommend you should wash in and wash out outside your home before stepping in and out of birdhouse.

with all those pets, it may worth assigning a room as an isolation room for if one starts feeling ill. it's hard to know if an eye or sinus infection is actually h5n1 until too late

I only have cats, but I’m thinking of adding a covered bin outside my front door and leaving shoes outside for now. My boys are going to be sad to lose their post-medication chicken treats 😭
