MARSOC and Force Recon are the tip of the spear, they handle tier 1-2 operations whilst being underfunded which is why it’s special, they do things prestigiously with hand me downs and old gear.

when I was younger my mom worked with a MARSOC vet. He looked me dead in the eyes and said MARSOC or nothing. I didn’t understand at the time, I did my time in the navy and now I feel incomplete.

i remember marsoc giving my platoon in 3/8 some training for a week it was basic stuff transition drills but more in depth but it was also the hardest and most eye opening week ive had this guys were
