How to make blueberry icecream. This  homemade blueberry icecream is a no churn icecream recipe. Ingredients for the condensed milk. 500ml milk. 1 cup sugar. Ingredients for the blueberry compote. Fresh blueberries. Lemon juice from 1 lemon. 3 Tbsp water. 1 tsp corn starch. 1/2 cup sugar. Ingredients for the icecream. 500ml cold whipping cream. 1 cup condensed milk. Crushed biscuits (optional)  Vanilla extract.  Method. For the condensed milk👇🏽 *To make the condensed milk, heat up sugar and milk. *Keep stirring and cook on medium heat. Using a clean spoon, remove the white froth that forms on the sides of the pot. You might need to do this more than one time.  *The condensed milk is ready when it changes color to a light brown and it's reduced by half. 2 cups of milk should give you 1 cup of condensed milk. *The condensed milk is ready when it coats the back of a spoon. *Transfer it to a cup and cover the surface of the condensed milk with plastic wrap. Cook it a bit to dry some of the water.  Add lemon juice and stir. *Make a corn starch slurry by mixing the corn starch and a bit of water. This will thicken it a bit. You should still have some sauce left.  *The blueberry sauce is ready when it coats the back of the spoon. *Set it aside to cool.  For the icecream 👇🏽 *Whip the cold whipping cream, condensed milk and vanilla. Whip it until you get soft peaks.  *Soft peaks means the whipping cream curves downwards when you lift it with a whisk. Do not over beat the whipping cream mixture.  *Add crushed biscuits and fold into the icecream.  *Add the icecream to a freezer safe container. Add a layer of blueberries and marble it.
