I hate Duolingo because it doesn’t tell me why these 2 are different but have the same word but not meaning I still have no clue what either fully mean (I can guess in conversation though and they usually don’t care)

and then you hear the word "idee". Which can be both de idee and het idee, depending on the context of the sentence.
