I gained 5lbs cause my patch wasn’t working & I tried progesterone (which made me gain) Just switched to a cream & already tell so much difference. But now I’ve gotta lose those 5lbs!

I’ve been on the estrogen patch and progesterone pill since Nov 1 and haven’t gained any weight but i do workout 4-5 days a week. I will say that belly fat is harder to lose but i think that’s age :(

I had DCIS About 14 years ago, I’m going to be 50 on Saturday if anyone of this thread pls advise. My gyno told me I’m not a candidate for HRT due to my history so, no I suffer with no sleep hot flashes weight gain brain fog and misery in general- open to any advice

I increased over a year starting with .025 and ending with .075 and 200 mg of progresterone. I gained so much weight and was so bloated that I quit cold turkey last Sunday. My plan is to go completely off for two months and then try to start again at .050 and 100 mg of progesterone in March. It was awful for me! But my joint pain did go away and I slept heavy at night. Those were the only 2 benefits I noticed.

Ok…question! 53 year old and new to HRT. Dr prescribed .075 patch. Did you have any side effects from the higher dose? Most everyone I see of starting off at lowest dose and I am afraid it will be too strong initially :/
