@pov_husband: Easy recipe to make Yoshinoya at home. In a pan boil 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp dashi powder, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin, 1 tsp sugar. Add sliced onions and boil until onions are soft then add in the meat and cook until meat is done. The meat I used was chuck eye. The hardest part about this is slicing the meat as thin as possible which can be done with a meat slicer. But I would say it's probably better to just buy Yoshinoya because it's pretty dang good and cheap.
