@halalfoodguy: Here's 5 of my favourite new places that opened in 2024.  Because I no longer work in Central (since covid) I find myself rarely heading into town for food, especially when there's so many new places that opened in East London this year, so apologies, they all happen to be In East.  In no particular order.  Shere Khan, Indian, Enfield  @sherekhanrestaurant  Sheer Khan in Enfield offers Michelin-quality Indian cuisine in a stylishly refurbished setting, with exceptional starters, flavorful mains, and a menu that rivals high-end London spots—perfect for special occasions. Minoa, Pan Asian, Romford  @minoarestaurant Minao in Romford offers a vast Pan-Asian menu with standout dishes like the Dragon Roll and Thai Green Curry, complemented by stunning decor and a vibrant atmosphere—perfect for dates or family outings.  Hot Birdies, Nashville Chicken, South Woodford  @hotbirdiesuk  Hot Birdies in South Woodford serves an outstanding Nashville chicken burger with bold, perfectly balanced flavors and tender chicken, paired with delicious waffle fries—an unmissable spot for spice lovers. Medina, Moroccan, Manor Park  @medina_restaurant621  This Moroccan spot impresses with standout dishes like the Chicken Bastilla and Lamb Tagine, offering bold and authentic flavours, the food here was better than anything I had in a recent trip to Morocco, a hidden gem.  Monster Burger, Steak/Burgers, Ilford  @monsterburgerlondon  My most visited spot of the year, 6 trips to the new Ilford location alone. Big fan of the steak and chips which is a standout dish, with loads of other dishes at good value prices, plus their chilli sauce is also a must.
