@emmakubert: This is how I start every illustration and comic book art piece when I’m ready to draw! First, I create the layouts (digitally), then print it out and use a light box to transfer the composition into nice, Bristol paper. If you are doing your illustration digitally, then just open up another layer to create more detail!
