This law should be a federal law or adapted nationwide. This coming into the officers space while conducting official business or a big officer safety concern. HALO law is a good start.

25 feet is pretty good. most of the time, all i do is use enforceable laws to keep people back by half that distance (mainly just telling people to stay out of the road if they want to record)
