Saturating your hair long enough works just as well. Grew out of my prepoo phase a few years ago, water and gentle detangling prevents product build up.

girl yes 😭😭 I put my hair in braids always before I wash my hair and run it underwater then add the prepoo individually to each braid, from roots to ends and my hair o comes out so BOMB

I use conditioner and water to detangle and section off my hair and let that sit from 30 mins-overnight and my hair has grown significantly
