I drive from out of state to Penn and receive top of the line treatment that I cannot get in my state. Everyone is helpful and competent. Hope they address the root issues.

Not to mention they treat Sickle Cell pts like shit. I was told I had to use a different hospital system bc I can't use a PCA pump and they refused to accommodate my disability 😭

You can’t really look at a singular score for anything and most of these metrics are trash. Some lag by a year or more. But also since the pandemic most hospitals are struggling with staffing.

my girl went into the hospital with high bp. over night nurse was supposed to give meds in iv SLOWLY he didn't, her heart literally stopped. thank God she woke up with crash team around her.

depends on a lot of factors. one thing that is relevant is that some hospitals will go above and beyond to game the scores the same way universities do with USNews rankings.

Low supply high demand that's now. ERs are PACKED to the brim with no where to treat patients once we are at full capacity. Community with non-compliance leading to greater sickness. No PC follow ups
