When women give their blood back to the Earth, men will come home from war and Earth shall find peace.” What if the women of the Voynich Manuscript were not simply bathing? This mysterious book was created roughly 600 years ago and written in a script no one has ever conclusively deciphered. Its pages contain impossible plants, lunar and astrological diagrams, and hundreds of nude women submerged in strange green and blue pools connected by elaborate channels. A modern theory suggests these women may be bathing in water charged beneath the moon. Their menstrual blood enters the water, creating the conditions for unusual plants to emerge without soil, seeds or any visible beginning. Moon. Woman. Blood. Water. Plant. A closed cycle of feminine creation and regeneration. There is also a saying widely circulated online as a Hopi prophecy: But what if “giving blood back to the Earth” once meant something more literal? What if menstrual blood was not considered waste or impurity, but part of a forgotten technology of regeneration? A biological offering carrying the information needed to awaken life inside moon-charged water? Then we have the stars. In popular retellings, the Blue Star Kachina appears at the threshold between worlds. The Blue Star removes the mask and makes the hidden visible. And in the mythology I have been tracing, Regulus is the Red Star, the Heart of Leo. It does not begin the crossing. It recognizes what has crossed and seals the moment. The Blue Star reveals. The Red Star witnesses. The blood returns. The Earth remembers. As above, so below. Once you place the bathing women, celestial imagery and botanical pages beside one another, the pattern becomes difficult to unsee. Women stand within the water. The heavens mark the timing. Blood carries the signal. Plants emerge where no seeds were placed. This plant comes from folio 21r. I restored it and allowed it to move slowly like seaweed drifting underwater, as though it is still suspended inside the water that created it. And ironically, I worked on this entire video about mysterious feminine health knowledge while waiting for the results of my own breast exam. Apparently the universe was very committed to the theme today. 😂 What if this was never simply a book of plants? What if it preserved the instructions for returning life to the Earth when the stars signaled that the time had come? 🌀 Disclaimer: This post combines an undeciphered manuscript, modern Voynich theories, sayings and Blue Star stories popularly attributed to Hopi tradition, and my own symbolic connection between the Red Star and Regulus. It is speculative storytelling, not a confirmed translation or a statement of official Hopi teaching.
