i think maybe you should try using more water. I’ve the defining brush and absolutely soaking your hair makes a huge difference

little tip use more water it makes a whole difference, and when using the brush go more up for volume or down for definition

the volume brush is meant to give you smaller clumps to promote volume, the defining brush gives bigger clumps and less chance for frizz :)
