I’m a teacher, my stylist decided to stop working weekends so she can spend them with her kids. I get it but I left her for another stylist who works on the weekend.

My mom owned a salon for 20 years and she had 2 days a week they stayed open until 10 to be there for people who work. Her salon was one of the most successful in our area because of the availability

There’s a small business near me only open Tuesday - Saturday 11-4 and the owners talk about how business is so slow.. I get that you want time off, but people need hours they can actually shop 🥲

I empathise with ppl in this industry who lose their non 9-5 weekday time, but when you’re in the business of luxury service, your client base is at work during 9-5 mon-fri, not in your chair.
