@misteramazingofficial: Life now is as empty as a mason jar, filled with preserves under pressure. What has history become but a husk, and what has becoming been but an emptying? The promises of yesterday are temples casting shadows on today, words spoken under umbrage. Who sees the future under the tutelage of the shades? Who Orphic sings while searching evermore for Eurydice? What is preserved but what is tinned, dinned, struck by blows of...what? Compressurized comportment - behavior under the star-signs. These seen from over the mountain's peak, over its shadow, are the stuff of stupidity. Dollarized deductions - unreal city! The signs are callous, shadowy figures dancing on the stratosphere. Read them and weep! The bets are on, and the preserves are fermented. Elusinian-like, we drink the drears of generations. Mosaic, past over the first-born, the law of nations lacquers. Perhaps Hiram saw this, and perhaps this is why he said to Solomon that the eye of the temple should inflect light. That wisdom is dead, pressurized under the empty force of our folly. #poetry #philosophy #society #culture #analysis #History #capitalism #money
