@skidrow_stories: The dogs in skid row are in a heartbreaking situation. All their owners are battling addiction—physically present but mentally absent. These dogs have nothing, but they hold on to the love of their owners, who are doing their best despite their struggles. I visit several times a week to bring blankets, dog food, vet services, and whatever support I can provide for both the dogs and their people. These are good-hearted people who genuinely love their animals, but addiction has taken over their lives.
