1. I overspend MOST months - I budget, but life isn’t black and white. Extra social plans pop up, last-minute trips happen and sometimes I just spend more than I planned to. As much as I’m a frugal gal, I also want to LIVE MY 20s. I’m not going to feel guilty about that. 2. I treat myself to a £100 gift every month - I work hard, I earn my money and I want to enjoy my income. I’m not sorry about it. 3. I buy a coffee every single day - TBF It’s £2.65 from work (it’s subsidised lol), but honestly, it’s the best £2.65 I spend at 9am every morning. I’m not willing to give it up just to save a few pounds. 4. I get my nails done every month - Believe it or not, I debate giving this up every single month. But it’s two hours where I can’t pick up my phone, I can switch off and just relax. And for me, that’s worth paying for. (and it makes me look like the put together Queen I am xx) 5. Purchasing home furnishings - I love lamps, candles, coasters, cushions, throws and all the little things that make a house feel like home. I spend a lot of time at home, and whilst I can afford it, I don’t plan on giving this up. 6. I go all out on BIG purchases - If I’m buying something expensive, best believe I’m going all out. If I’m getting a coffee machine, I want the good one. If I’m investing in something I’ll use for years, I want it to be high quality and last!! I’m still saving. I’m still investing. I’m still being sensible with my money BUT I don’t want to look back at my 20s and realise I spent the whole time trying to save as much money as possible. We can build wealth AND enjoy my life along way xx #spendingmoney #balancedlifestyle
