I wash mine in the dishwasher and not open it till I'm ready to fill. they're clean and warm

make sure the foods you're waterbathing are safe to do so. low acid foods can still grow bacteria even after waterbathing and you can't always smell or taste it.

I oven baked my jars and it weakened them. I now just wash them in my dishwasher and fill them and process them
