@nomante.potante: Poppy Seed milk Ingredients: 90g poppy seeds 2 ceylon cinnamon sticks 50g cashews 4 dates or sugar 800ml water Vanilla Method: 1. Add poppy seeds and cinnamon stick in a heat proof bowl and pour boiling water over it. Soak overnight at room temp. For Cashews and dates, soak them in cold water overnight in the fridge. 2. Strain the poppy seed really well. Blend the dry poppy seeds with the cinnamon stick for a few minutes scraping the sides in between. 3. Strain the cashews with dates and vanilla and continue blending.  4. Slowly add the water. Blend for a few minutes and adjust the sweetness.  5. Over a large bowl strain the milk through a cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze as much as you can. Save some of the blended poppy seeds to put back into the milk if you want.  6. Warm it up on a stove (don’t let it boil) and serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon and kūčiukai or other biscuits.
