Hot take, we have NEVER seen batmans origin story. Not once. Establishing a motive is NOT an origin. An origin is when you actually START doing the thing. Every story says "motive" then skips origin.

I'm so happy we're moving away from that cliche. I mean yeah its interesting seeing how Wayne's parents bite the dust in many ways. But after a while, it becomes repetitive. So this is a smart move.
