Current ML systems are already superhuman in many fields, the issue is that they are too narrow and just apply to a single problem. We might need narrow superintelligence... but not too narrow.

I agree. but in order to have that, you need agi to run the narrow. just understanding language interactions is a LLM. you can't just cut and chop parts of Ai you want, it can surely specialise in one

it's probably easier for a developer to just copy human behavior, for an Ai to be good at law, the developer would probably need to have an actual legal advisor
