@treebeing: I often get asked about stump height in the redwoods. Here’s an example of how they grow: off of old growth stumps that were cut decades ago and often in clumps. This is what makes them challenging and sometimes a pain 😂 They are super prolific and sprout back like crazy when one is cut down. The result is trunks originating well off the ground. This can block and prevent a low stump, which isn’t always obvious in a video.
