Hi. Just a little trick, someone taught me clean the glass inside with a magic eraser and all the algae will be stuck to that and not get put back in your water from the brush.

Little tip, you don’t need to keep squeezing the pump to get it to run. Just put the siphon in and pump it until the water comes into the bucket and that’s it.

U did it perfectly. If u have a 5 gallon or larger just leave ur fish in the tank while u clean. It stops them from being stressed because they don’t have to move environments even if it’s only 10 min
